Personal Biography Statement

As advisors, our goals include providing students the tools they need to define, plan, and implement life-long educational goals. Advisors teach students how to plan a schedule, understand the curriculum, and make solid educational choices.

I have been an advisor and advising administrator since 1996. As an advisor, I gain great satisfaction from seeing students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and in life. Watching a student blossom, and having some small role in that, is a great privilege. As an administrator, I take pride in developing the tools and systems that help students access and make sense of an inherently complicated institution.
