Personal Biography Statement
Jennifer Bradford received her doctorate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2010, specializing in corrections. She received her Master of Criminal Justice from Boston University in 2005 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Willamette University in 1999. In addition to corrections, her areas of specialization include community corrections, prison rehabilitation, inmate-correctional officer relations, and court services. She has taught online for Boston University since 2006 to include Research Methods, Criminology, Statistics, Victimology, Terrorism, and White Collar Crime. She also taught a Media and Crime course at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bradford has presented nationwide at several professional conferences and has publications on a variety of research topics to include female white collar criminals, gender stereotypes in the media, cognitive-behavioral rehabilitation, juvenile sex offenders, and private prisons. She served six years active duty for the US Navy as a Chinese linguist. She served as the Assistant Director of the Advising Center at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, she served as a sworn Bond Commissioner for Larimer County Pretrial Services in Colorado.
