Personal Biography Statement

Social Work is a special career. It allows us to contribute to individuals and society as we continue to learn.

Before coming to Metro to teach, I worked as a Social Worker in social services, child protection, a junior high school, juvenile justice, mental health, and private practice. Here at Metro I spent many years as the director of field education (internships) for the Department of Social Work. I have provided training in many of these areas both locally and nationally.
