Personal Biography Statement

I am a Registered Dietitian and have both my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Human Nutrition and Food Science from Colorado State University. I have taught at MSCD for more than 5 years. Before becoming interested in the field of Nutrition, I studied Chemistry at Colorado School of Mines, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree. I have clinical, community, research and even a little food service experience to share with my students.
I live in south west Denver with my 2 daughters, a cat and dog, where we enjoy many outdoor activities. We also enjoy swimming, gardening and cooking. My newest favorite exercise is Zumba- it makes me laugh and sweat at the same time.
