Krista Marie Richards

Personal Biography Statement

Krista received her BSW from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, and her MSW from the University of Michigan, with an emphasis in Management of Human Services and Health. She relocated to Colorado in the Fall of 2004, and prior to that was working in the field of aging/senior services in New York City for six years, several of which were at foundations with funding priorities in aging. In addition to her geriatric experience, Krista has also worked in social work staffing, oncology and medical social work, substance abuse, at a children's advocacy center and in child welfare, as well as with severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in group home foster care.
