Personal Biography Statement

Dr. Kulkarni's special fields are Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and International Economics. He has written 8 books and 110 journal articles. Besides teaching International and Macroeconomics courses, he serves as the Editor of Indian Journal of Economics and Business (IJEB) which is released 3 times/year. (visit www.ijeb.com for more information). His new book, "Principles of Macro-Monetary Economics" is published by Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company, Dubuque, Iowa in January 2009. Research Areas/Interests

International Capital Flows, J-Curve, PPP, Indian Economic Changes, Dutch Disease, Importation of Inflation and Stagflation in Small Open Economies.

Personal

Prof. Kulkarni is an avid tennis player and a world traveler. He has taught in Semester at Sea Program (Spring 1994 voyage) and has visited Oxford University (2005) and several Indian Educational Institutions over the years. He has delivered numerous invited lectures including the Bisalaiah Endowment lecture in the University of Mysore, India on December 15, 2009. He lives in Lakewood, CO with wife Jayashree (Joyce) who is an Instructor in Dept of Accounting, and their two daughters, Dr. Lina Kulkarni (DDS, MS (Orthodontics), see www.kulkarniortho.com and Aditi (University of Colorado Law School student)
