Personal Biography Statement

Dr. Jeff Lewis is an Associate Professor at Metro State in the Marketing Department. He started at Metro in 2001 and has taught Business Communication, Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, and New Product Development. He has over twelve years of teaching experience including many online courses at Metro and online MBA courses at Colorado State University. Brand Spankin New, EntrepreneurshipWeek, and Metro State Innovation Challenge are some of the college programs he serves.

Educational Biography

He graduated from Colorado State University with a Doctorate in Human Capital and Resource Development. His Masters Degree in Management is from Colorado Christian University and he also has a Bachelors Degree from Colorado State in Biological Sciences.

Professional Affiliations

Jeff's professional experience is diverse. He is an entrepreneur and has invented products that are being sold nationwide at major retailers. He has managed a real estate finance business and worked as a church administrator and pastor. Jeff also interacts with businesses as a consultant to improve their communication and strategic operations.

Jeff is a Colorado native and graduated from Frederick High School.

Other

Jeff served as Director of Online Learning at Metro from 2007 to 2011. This position works with faculty and administration to increase the quality and quantity of online offerings within the college.
