Personal Biography Statement

Peg Ekstrand
Director of Client Services, CRL Associates, Inc.

Peg provides in-depth research on projects and issues to best serve client needs. She manages our archives and monitors all upcoming legislation in our clients’ interest. Peg has cultivated strong relationships with local, regional and national media to generate positive media coverage and deploy successful earned media and public outreach campaigns for clients.

Prior to joining CRL, Peg was the council aide/legislative analyst for Denver City Council’s District Ten Office where she successfully advocated for its constituents. Peg has extensive experience in the public relations and marketing field. For 17 years, she served at the state level as public relations director for the Colorado Historical Society, developing and implementing communication strategies.

Peg has a Master’s degree in Western U.S. History. She is an alumnae of the Denver Community Leadership Forum and the Outward Bound Leadership Program. Her memberships include the Denver Press Club and the Denver Woman’s Press Club (past president). In addition, Peg is an enthusiastic affiliate Colorado History instructor at Metropolitan State College.
