Personal Biography Statement

Martin Lanik, PhD is an organizational psychologist and an internationally renowned expert in simulation based leadership and executive assessment and development. He holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University and consulted for organizations in multiple industries, including healthcare, interpreting, mining, financial services, food services, transportation, education, information technology, and government. His almost ten-year career in management consulting and organizational research spans across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and Central America. Prior to founding Global Assessor Pool, he consulted for Development Dimensions International.

​Dr. Lanik is also a professor in the Master of Organizational Leadership program at Regis University. Recipient of the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Fellowship and past co-chair of Industrial/ Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior (IOOB) conference, Dr. Lanik is a frequent speaker at international conferences, such as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), International Congress on Assessment Center Methods and European Congress of Psychology, with over 40 invited and peer-reviewed talks and papers.

Most recently, Dr. Lanik was invited as the keynote speaker at The Assessment Center Study Group of South Africa and as a panelist at SIOP, wrote the feature article for the Chief Learning Officer Magazine, and spoke for the European Personnel Selection Office.
