Personal Biography Statement

Randy Braun has enjoyed teaching marketing at Metro since 2007. He is also a commercial real estate investor and high school football coach. He regularly serves on the Board of Directors for local charities, donating his time and expertise in marketing and fund-raising.

Randy's business background includes fifteen years in sales and sales management in the radio broadcasting industry, including being the National Sales Manager at Denver's KOA Radio. He has worked in an advertising agency, built his own vending machine business, worked as a Sales Counselor for The General Electric Company,and traveled the United States doing public seminars on marketing.

Recent awards include the 2010 International Gold Key Award for Excellence in Teaching at Metro and he was named the 2009 "Volunteer Of The Year" while serving on the Board of Directors at the Anchor Center for Blind Children. Randy earned his MBA in Marketing from Regis University.

Teaching Philosophy

Randy views marketing as a fascinating blend of art and science. His classes are designed so that students can apply what they learn in order to actually develop better marketing skill. This emphasis on skill development has earned him the nickname, "Coach Randy". Thus, his classes rely less on reading and memorization and more on the application of marketing principles.
