Personal Biography Statement

Hi, my name is Sally Casey. I am an affiliate faculty member at Metropolitan State College of Denver and instruct on a part-time basis. In addition, I work at the University of Colorado School of Public Health in workforce development.

I have a Master of Public Health Degree and a BS in Human Services. My career has focused on prevention, with an emphasis on health education, advocacy and policy.  Throughout my career I have worked in the local, state and federal public health sectors, as well as the non-profit and international sectors.  I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tunisia, North Africa for two years, and worked as a staff member for an additional four years.

I feel fortunate to be able to support your educational and professional journeys, and look forward to working with you all this semester.  I encourage students to communicate freely regarding their class work and will assist wherever possible in your career planning efforts.
