Personal Biography Statement

I am an adjunct professor of nutrition in the Health Professions Department at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Previously, I was teaching in Cleveland, Ohio, where I spent most of my life. I relocated to Colorado in 2007 to be in a healthier state (Colorado is tops in that department!). I hold two master's degrees, one in biology and the other in nutrition. Currently, I am a registered dietitian working as a Clinical Nutrition Manager in Boulder County. I am also working toward my DCN (Doctrate in Clinical Nutrition). In whatever free time I have left, I enjoy hiking, cooking, gardening, sewing, and traveling.
