Personal Biography Statement

Brian Van Horne is an Associate Manager in the Publications/Printing Department at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and an affiliate faculty member at the Metropolitan State University of Denver in the Technical Communication and Communication Arts and Sciences Departments. He is involved in the development and publication of technical reports, instruction materials, technical presentations, bid proposals, advertising/marketing media and other peripheral materials in the Aerospace industry. He has been teaching within these disciplines for more than 20 years.

Educational Biography

Brian Van Horne has 38 years experience in various facets of the communication discipline, including writing/editing (business and technical), publishing, speaking, marketing/advertising, management, and teaching. He has been an adjunct faculty member at various colleges since 1987 in business communication disciplines. He has been an affiliate faculty member at Metropolitan State University of Denver for more than 10 years in the Departments of Technical Communication and Communication Arts and Sciences. He has a MA degree in Communication from the University of Denver and a BA in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University.
He has been accepted on the roster by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars for the J. William Fulbright Senior Specialists Program.
