Personal Biography Statement

Judith Wonstolen graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1995 with a B.A. in Psychosocial Health. Her Individualized Degree Plan (IDP) combined coursework from Women’s Studies, Psychology, and Human Services. She earned her M.A. in Liberal Studies/Psychology from Regis University, where she also completed a Graduate certificate in Adult Learning, Training and Development. Judith has been an adjunct faculty member for MSCD since 2001 in both the Women’s Studies and Psychology Departments. In addition, she teaches for Colorado Community Colleges Online (CCCO) and Regis University’s College for Professional Studies in the graduate psychology dept.
Judith has been affiliated with the Institute for Women’s Studies and Services (IWSS) since she was a student in the early nineties. At that time she served as president of Iota,Iota, Iota, the women’s studies honorary, and was a student member of the IWSS advisory board. She remains committed to addressing women’s issues, introducing students to women’s studies, and advocating for social justice.
Judith is a co-chair of Mile Hi Church's Inclusion and Diversity Core and has facilitated a psychospiritual support group for women since 1997. She is also a mother and grandmother.
