Mission Statement
Our mission is to have a student voice in every classroom.
Overview
The Runners Program is an extension of Student Government Assembly and is composed of student volunteers who inform the student body of campus events, how-to’s, did-you-know’s, opportunities and issues facing the university as well as collect student input. Runners enrich our campus by boosting school pride, encouraging their peers to become aware and active on campus and help the student voice be heard. Student input is collected by Runners and Student Government advocates these voices throughout the campus.
How it Works
Every week Runners read scripts to their classes, clubs and organizations. As well, every month Runners distribute a survey to collect student input on various topics. In return for their service, Runners are given monthly and semester prizes, private workshops and exclusive social events. Runners accumulate points for their service and all other campus involvement and participation.
