What is Smarthinking?

Smarthinking provides tutoring in Mathematics (Basic Skills - Calculus II), Writing, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Accounting, Economics, Spanish and Statistics. Math tutors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the school year. Over 80% of Smartinkingtutors have a Masters or PhD in their respective discipline, and they average eight years of teaching experience. Students can:

  • "Drop-in" for live tutoring;

  • Submit questions for a response within 24 hours;

  • Pre-schedule sessions; and

  • View archives of past sessions.

Smarthinking is available to students through MetroConnect. You must access this service via MetroConnect each time you wish to visit the site. Accessing SmarThinking.com directly (going to http://www.smarthinking.com) will not work.
