MSW Assessment
Greetings!
The Department of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver values the assessment process as it leads to instrumental data that informs program improvement on multiple levels. The MSW Program designed its assessment plan during the initial creation of the MSW Program's curriculum and collected data beginning in Year 1 (Fall 2011-Spring 2012). The BSW Program has been making assessment-informed curriculum changes since its initial accreditation in 1997 and the same practice will occur in the MSW Program as it develops. Our assessment methods have improved over the years, and our most recent improvement involves the sharing of assessment data with our stakeholders (students, field instructors, and other community partners).
