Macro Practice Concentration
With a focus on program management and organizational leadership, this concentration covers the knowledge, values and skills related to making large system changes. Students who are accepted into the Macro Practice Concentration will apply knowledge through macro practice field experience. With macro practice social worker experience, career options include:
- Agency directors
- Grant writers
- Legislative advocates or elected officials
- Program designers and developers
- Social entrepreneurs
- Community leaders
After graduation, you can complete additional state requirements to earn your Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
Required Foundation Coursework
MSW Regular Program students will complete the following foundational coursework after being admitted to the program. The plan below reflects the required sequence for a full-time student. Part-time students will receive a plan of completion from the Social Work Department.
