Charge

SPARC has responsibility for collegewide planning with regard to allocation and use of space. SPARC will make evaluations and recommendations through the Vice President of Administration and Finance as to the efficient use of office, lab, studio, and storage space. All space occupied by Metro State on the Auraria Campus belongs to the College.

SPARC is charged with serving as steward of the space resources of the College and fulfills that function by reviewing and prioritizing requests, identifying optimal space assignments, negotiating alternatives, and making recommendations that are consistent with short- and long-term strategic planning.

The Committee representation includes: staff from each division, faculty from all schools and from the Senate, and a student representative.
