Scope
SPARC will monitor and coordinate the utilization of space by Metro State, tying all space-related activity to Metro State’s strategic and academic plans and to the goals of the committee which are:

To use scarce resources (allotted space and funds for space-related activities) more efficiently

To identify the needs of all departments and integrate those needs into a viable plan for space usage in the short- and long-term

To maximize the usefulness and accountability of internal processes for maintenance and remodeling of Metro State’s space and the policies and procedures for work requests to AHEC

To strengthen Metro State’s knowledge and position regarding tri-institutional negotiations on space-related matters
SPARC will serve as a two-way conduit of information to keep groups and individuals on campus apprised of the status of existing space-related plans and requests and to pass along any ideas and suggestions from the campus to the Vice Presidents, Cabinet, and President.
