The
Healthy Moves program, sponsored by the Health Center at Auraria,
is an innovative health education program that is open to all students,
staff, faculty, and alumni on the Auraria Campus. Many programs
are also open to the Denver community. This is an opportunity to
relax and rejuvenate and take some time for your self. We invite
you to take the challenge and opportunity in learning how to create
a healthy body, mind and attitude.
There is no charge for the Healthy Moves Programs.

Body
Mind and Soul
No one knows exactly how spirituality affects health, but a growing number of studies reveal that spirituality may play a bigger role in the healing process that previously thought. Spiritual practices can improve coping skills, foster feelings of optimism and hope, promote healthy behavior, reduce feels of depression and encourage a sense of relaxation.
Cultural
Diversity and High Level Wellness
Many cultures offer us ancient, highly respected systems for promoting health and healing. Healthy Moves introduces you to many of the surviving medical traditions and will help you understand how you can integrate traditional healing methods into your daily lives. Herbs for Health and Sleep will be the focus this year.
