Cancer Survivors Support Group and Family and Friends of Cancer Patients

What type of support is given?
The cancer survivors group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays (excluding December, July and August). The group defines what discussion, activities and support are helpful. At the present time, focus is on massage therapy and educational programs relating to adjunct and alternative cancer treatments. There is no cost for the program. Metro State Online Cancer Support Group
This is a private group on Metro Connect. It allows for the posting of questions, comments and responses to other members. Topics of discussion include: medical information, alternative and adjunct treatments, coping, books, as well as other topics. Metro students, staff, and faculty can access this group through MetroConnect "Groups" under the Recreation/Wellness section. If you have questions contact Linda Wilkins-Pierce.
