Curanderisimo and Spiritual Practices of the South Western United States
Curanderisimo:  Learn the origin of Curanderisimo and how it is still practiced in the U.S., Mexico and into Ecuador. Explore the mind-body-spirit connection and how the supernatural is part of this ancient healing system.   A short ceremony will be included.
Spiritual Practices:  Learn how daily spiritual practices are closely related to modern medicine.  A Spiritual Practice Model will be introduced and a short ceremony will be included. 
Sofia Chavez-Frederick is a Holistic Health Care provider that combines ancient traditions of the South West, with the modern sciences of Integrative Modalities and Occupational Therapy philosophies.  She is a descendant of Spanish, Navajo and Apache ancestry.

While asana is an essential aspect of yoga practice, there are many other important methods.  In this comprehensive workshop we will take a closer look at all eight-limbs of yoga practice.  Postures, breathing methods and meditative forms will all be included.

Introduction to Qigong for Health and Harmony
Not quite sure what Qigong is about? Qigong (“chee-gung”) is enjoyed regularly for health, longevity and tranquility by millions of people. Have fun learning these simple flowing movements and deep breathing exercises that can contribute to vital health and calm centeredness.

Because they tend to work gently without severe side effects the use of herbs have been a popular choice to optimize women’s health.  Herbs can be used to nourish the female reproductive tract, restore normal cycles and reduce or eliminate symptoms associated with PMS and Menopause. In this program you will learn how you can bring herbs into your life.
