Tutoring Center The purpose of the MSCD Tutoring Center is to foster an environment that promotes student success and ensures supplemental support of courses offered at Metro State. Tutors will provide strategies and encouragement that assists the student in achieving their goals in the world of academia. Tutoring is available in the following areas: accounting, computer information systems, economics, math, math assessments, managment, philosophy, physics, spanish and psychology. http://www.mscd.edu/~sas/tutoring/ Online Tutoring: SMARTHINKING program Metro State students have
access to 20 free hours of live online tutoring through the SMARTHINKING
program. Online tutoring is available in the following areas: math, accounting, economics, statistics, writing, physics, biology, chemistry, bilingual (Spanish) mathematics To access SMARTHINKING, go to metroconnect.mscd.edu and click on the student tab to log in for your free tutoring. For more information, visit the Tutoring Center in Tivoli 219 or call 303-556-6439 Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences Tutoring Center The Mathematics Tutoring Center has one-on-one tutoring for Metro State Mathematics students taking Mathematics General Studies courses as well as Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics and Linear Algebra. It functions on a first-come-first-served basis in SI226. The department also has a
tutor in SI124A (computer Lab.) to help students in Java, C++, Introduction
to Computers and Web Applications, who are
taking CSI and CSS courses. Both the Mathematics and Computer
