What is the Student Conduct Hearing Board?
- The Student Conduct Hearing Board is made up of a group of trained members who are brought together to hear cases where a student has allegedly violated the student code of conduct. The board hears the case and makes a decision to determine whether or not a violation of the Student Code of Conduct has occurred.
Who is on the Student Conduct Hearing Board?
- Each Board is made up of a minimum of 3 people: one student, one faculty member and one staff member. These volunteers must all attend a training that involves understanding the student code of conduct as well as student rights and responsibilities.
What is the time commitment?
- Each hearing lasts from 60 - 90 minutes. Conduct Board members are required to attend training that happens once a semester if they want to participate on the board.
