Second Degree Program
Second Degree Requirements for a Second Degree in Surveying and Mapping
The second degree program is for students having been awarded a four-year academic degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver (Metro State), or any other recognized institution of post secondary education, who desire to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying and Mapping from Metro State.
Requirements For a Second Degree
- The first bachelor's degree must be recognized by Metro State.
- General studies will be considered complete unless deficiencies exist according to the major department.
- Students must complete all requirements for a new major with a minimum of eight Metro State upper-division semester hours in the major department.
- Students must satisfy the Multicultural and Senior Experience course requirements for the second degree.
- Students must complete a minimum of 30 (thirty) semester hours of Metro State credit.
- An application for Graduation must be submitted to the Registrar's by the deadline published on the Metro State's website - Academic Calendar
