After You Register
STEP 1 - Order Course Materials
All course materials are available to order at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/MSCD.HTM. Click on Buy Books and select the appropriate course.
STEP 2 - Make a Study Plan
Organize your materials.
You will need a three-ring binder for the Lecture Notes in addition to the textbook(s), and the DVD's.
Organize your time.
Distance delivery requires discipline. Set aside at least three hours a week for each course you are taking. Extra time will have to be scheduled for reading. The lectures will alert you when it is time to schedule quizzes and exams. You have six months to complete the course.
STEP 3 - Plan and Schedule Exams
Exams are professional level - not academic, based on real-life situations.
Proctoring Examinations
You will need an exam proctor who will oversee your examinations. Well in advance of an exam, you will need to make arrangements to have the exam sent to a school or library or other appropriate site near your work or home. Your proctor may not be a co-worker, manager, employee, or relative. Download the Proctor Instructions and the Proctor Request Form. This form contains all the information you will need to secure an examination proctor.
Send the completed Proctor form to:
