Overview
The Teacher Education Department is dedicated to providing its students the support needed for a successful experience throughout the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program.
Once you have been accepted into the MAT program, you will be assigned an advisor in your specific content area. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with their advisor at least once per semester. Advising appointments may be set up through the Teacher Education Department at 303-556-6228 or stopping by West Classroom #136.
All students must meet with their designated advisor for acceptance into Student Teaching during the beginning of the semester prior to the semester in which student teaching is planned. The Student Teaching Center manages the final steps toward teacher licensure for candidates in the graduate programs. Access the Student Teaching Center.
