COM 1300 - Survey of Computer Gaming
This survey course provides an overview of the computer gaming industry and production process. Students learn about elements that comprise a video or computer game and the basics of conceptualization, design, production, and testing. Creative, technical, and legal components of game design are covered. Socially-conscious computer game design practices are also examined.
COM 1450 - Literacy and Communication Technologies
In this introductory course, students review basic Internet standards and refine electronic communication skills using digital media and current online technologies. Students also practice searching for and managing electronic information. The course emphasizes information, media and visual literacy principles, as well as practical application.
COM 366 S - Mobile & Social Media Communication
This course introduces the concepts of mobile and social media communication and explores how the media fosters communication, collaboration, and community building within industry and organizations.
