accounts can be easily configured if your Exchange server has Autodiscovery enabled.

  • Open Mail (click its icon in the Dock, or open it in the Applications folder).

  • From the Mail menu, choose Preferences.

  • Click Accounts in the toolbar.

  • Click the + icon. The "Add Account" sheet appears.

  • Enter your real name, email address, and password; click Continue

  • Mail will reject your settings with the following error message, simply place “admin\” in front of your username and mail will connect to your MSU Denver Exchange account.

  • Select "Address Book contacts" and/or "iCal calendars" if you would like to automatically configure iCal and Address Book for use with your Exchange server as well.

  • Click Continue. The "Account Summary" sheet appears.

  • Review the information in the summary. If it appears to be correct, click Create. If you need to make changes, click Go Back.

  • Select "Take account online" to take this account online immediately

NOTE: The Domain is admin, the email address ends in @msudenver.edu
