About Evan:

As the Technology Training and Educations Specialist Evan Bowles plans and directs the activities of the Technology Training and Education team, and serves as the point of contact for initiating and scheduling technology related training programs on campus. Prior to joining MSU Denver in October 2010,  Evan worked in the telecommunications industry for 7 years and served in several operations support roles.  In his free time he enjoys to climb mountains, study the philosophical implications of technological innovation, and make music in his home studio

About Thu:

Thu Nguyen is a senior majoring in Computer Information Systems at MSU Denver. She thinks that training is a part of active learning process where trainees have opportunities to gain actual hand-on practices. Therefore, her ultimate goal is to especially focus on exercises and activities included in each individual training course because this is the effective way to get participants involved in the process of learning new skills. Also, she believes that Technology Training course offerings will help to enhance productivity and quality of work among faculty, students, and staff of MSU Denver

About Elizabeth:

Elizabeth is currently a junior at MSU Denver, working toward an Independent Degree with a minor in Linguistics. She believes that training should cover issues that users encounter on a daily basis for work or school, allowing those who take the class to be able to address these issues on their own when they appear in the future. Her goal as a trainer is to be able to explain the software in an approachable manner that helps faculty and staff, as well as students, to make the most of the software offered by MSU Denver. She considers the training classes offered as a place where users can come and feel comfortable about asking questions and starting with the basics, as well as an opportunity to learn more advanced features.

About Stephanie:

Stephanie is currently a junior at MSU Denver. Her major is Human Services where she will be concentrating her studies on Mental Health and Domestic Violence. She has been a work-study with MSU Denver in the Administrative Computing department for over a year now. She recently acquired this position with Technology Training and Education over the summer. She thoroughly enjoys this job because it challenges her in new ways every single day. She also really enjoys working with the diversity of students, staff and faculty here at MSU Denver. "No day in Technology Training and Education is the same and I continually allowed to grow and become the best professional I can be," she said.

About Jason:

As of fall 2012, Jason is a senior with his major in History and his minor in Secondary Education at MSU Denver. He enjoys this position because training has given him the opportunity to test his teaching skills and practice putting together lesson plans in training courses. " Technology and the ability to use it gives us the ability to be more productive in the things we do in life, well at the same time giving us the means to work closer as groups," he said. Besides, he emphasized that technology and training here at MSU Denver is great tool for our faculty, staff and students to gain knowledge form the rudimentary to advanced levels in the different software’s available here on campus at MSU Denver
