Add Page Transitions

Any page transitions added to the original file in Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe InDesign will be included when you export the file to a PDF. You also can add these elements within the PDF itself. Page transitions can only be seen when the PDF is viewed in Full Screen Mode


Add Transitions

1.  Turn on Pages panel, under Navigation and View Toolbar, by clicking on Page Thumbnails

2.  Click on the Options button at the top > select Page Transitions…


  • Right click on any thumbnail > select Page Transitions…

  • Go to Tools pane and select the Document Processing panel and click on Page Transitions

3.  In the Page Transitions dialog box, do the following:

  • Under Transition, select the transition you wish to use from the drop down menu

  • Depending on the transition you select, you will be given options as to the direction and speed of the effect

  • Check the box next to Auto Flip if you want to create a self-running show > select how long each page will show before transitioning to the next
  • Under the Page Range section, select what pages the transition will apply to
    • All pages in document
    • Pages selected in Pages panel - if you have selected the thumbnails of certain pages this option will apply the transition to those pages
    • Pages range - enter what page numbers you wish to have transitions

 

View Transitions

1.  Click on the View menu

2.  Choose Full Screen Mode

  • Press CTRL+L (for Windows)
  • Press CMND+L (for MAC)
