Export Comments to Word for Windows
If you create a document using Microsoft Word for Windows, convert it to PDF, and someone makes comments on that PDF, you can export those comments made using Adobe Acrobat to the original Microsoft Word document
1. Open the PDF that contains the comments you want to export

2. Under the Comments List panel, click on the Options icon

3. Click on Export to Word…
4. The Import Comments from Adobe Acrobat window will open, letting you know the specific criteria needed to import the comments. It is also suggested that you add the comments to a backup version of the document as they may change the document.
5. Click Ok
6. In the next window select what PDF file you are taking the comments from and what Word document you are inserting them into

7. Below that, select what comments you want to import
- All Comments
- All Comments with Checkmarks- imports all the comments that have been checked off
- Text Edits only: Insertions, Deletions, and Replaces- won’t import sticky notes, line drawings, highlights, or any other type of markup
- Apply Custom Filters to Comments: - if you had filters applied in your Comments List only the filtered comments will import

8. Click Continue
9. An Import Summary window will appear showing you how many comments were imported
- If you want to go straight to the document with all the comments added, click Cancel
- Click Integrate Text Edits if you want Acrobat to walk you through each change made to the document, giving you an opportunity to accept or reject each comment added

- In the Adobe Acrobat Comments window you can choose to Apply or Discard the comments

10. All the comments will be added to the original document
