Use the Mail Review Process
1. Open the PDF you want to have sent for review
2. Under the Comment pane > under the Review section > click on Send for Email Review
3. A wizard will open to walk you through the process

4. In the first window you will be asked to select what file to send, the file open will already be selected, but you can also select a different file by clicking Browse
- Click Next when you have selected the file you wish to send

5. In the next window, type in the email addresses of the reviewers you want to send the file to, or click Address Book to open the contact list from your email program set up on your computer

- Click Next

6. In the last window you can preview the invitation. Acrobat already fills out the subject line and message with instructions on how to review the PDF, but you can add or change the information sent to your reviewers here

7. When finished click Send Invitation
8. A message will open up letting you know that the email message has been sent using the default email application set up on your computer (such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail), click Ok
9. The message will appear in the recipients’ email inboxes

10. They can open the PDF by opening the attachmen

11. When the reviewer opens the PDF they will see a yellow ribbon across the top of the PDF asking them to add comments and markups to the PDF and prompting them to send it when they are finished

12. The reviewer can add comments and markups to the PDF

13. When they are done they will click the Send Comments button on the yellow ribbon

14. A window will open letting the reviewer know that they will be sending an email with the comments attached as a file
- The address filed is already filled out the email address of the person who send the PDF, however the reviewer can add other recipients if necessary

- The subject line and message have also been filled out with a default message that the reviewer can change if they wish

- They will click Send to send the comments back to the initiator

15. You will receive an email from the reviewer with the comments attached, open the attachment

16. A window will open asking you if you want to merge the comments to your PDF, click Yes
17. You will get a message letting you know Adobe successfully merged the comments into the PDF

18. You can do this will all the different reviewers, combining them all into one PDF
