Track changes in shared Workbook
Enable track changes feature
- Go to Review tab > Changes group > click Protect and Share Workbook

In the Protect Shared Workbook dialog box, do the following:

Select Sharing with track changes check box

If desired, under Password (optional), enter the password in the text box
-
Click OK

Setup Track Changes in a shared workbook
-
Go to Review tab > Changes group > click Track Changes > click Highlight Changes

In the Highlight Changes dialog box, do the following:
-
If necessary, make sure Track changes while editing. This also shares your workbook check box selected
-
Select When check box to highlight changes since last time save
-
Select Who check box to highlight changes made by another user
-
Click OK

Review changes in shared workbook

Go to Review tab > Changes group > click Accept or Reject Changes

In the Microsoft Excel dialog box, if prompted to save the workbook, click OK

In the Select Changes to Accept or Reject dialog box, do any of the following:

To accept or reject changes that are made after a particular date, do the following:
-
Select the When check box,
-
Click the down arrow > choose Since date > type the earliest date to review the changes.

To accept or reject changes that are made by another user, do the following:
-
Select the Who check box
-
Click the down arrow > choose the user whose changes to review.

To accept or reject changes that are made to a specific area, do the following:
-
Select the Where check box
-
Type the cell reference of the worksheet range.

Click OK

In the Accept or Reject Changes dialog box, do the following:
-
Review the information about each change displayed.
-
To accept or reject each change, click Accept or Reject button
-
To accept or reject all changes, click Accept All or Reject All button

If prompted to select a value for a cell, select the cell value > click Accept button
