Work with Business cards

By default, the view of Contact area is the Business Card View

 

Edit information fields

1.   Double click in a Business Card to edit

2.   In the contact information form, double click on Business Card image

3.   In the Edit Business Card dialog box, do the following:

  • Under Fields section, click on any of field name in the box to change the information such as name, phone, email or address
  • Under the Edit section, make any format to apply for the field edited

 

Add a new field

1.   Click on Add button

2.   Select a desired information field from the menu

 

Reorder fields

1.   Select the information fields you want to re-arrange

2.   Use the up and down arrow button below the field name box under Fields section to rearrange the order of the field on the Business Card

 

Label the field in the Business card

1.   Under Fields section, choose the fieldname to label on the Business Card

2.   Under Edit section, click the arrow next to No Label > select a desired position to place the label 

3.   Under the Label field, enter the label name      

   

 

Reset the display of fields to default

1.   Click Reset Card button

2.   Click OK to accept all the changes

3.   Click Save and Close to complete the edit

 

 

E-mail a Business Card

1.   Go to Home tab > New group > click on New E-mail to compose a new e-mail

2.   In the new email message window, enter the recipient’s address and subject line

3.   Go to Message tab > Include group > click on Attach Item, point to Business Card and then click on Other Business Card 

4.   In the Insert Business Card dialog box, select the Business Card to e-mail in the box > click OK to insert 

5.   The Business Card is attached in Attached field as well as in the body of the e-mail

6.   If desired, click on the Business Card in the body of the email and press DETELE key to remove it from the body of the email without any effect on the Business Card attached in the email

 

Save attached Business Cards

1.   Open the email contained  the Business Card attached

2.   Double click on the attached Business Card icon under the Subject line

3.   The contact information form is displayed

4.   Click Save & Close to save the new contact in the Outlook Contacts
