Add slides and content

Add a new slide

  • Go to File tab > Slides group > click New Slide down arrow > select a desired slide layout, for example Title and Content layout

  • Repeat the process to add as many slides as needed for the presentation slide show




Add content

  • Start with a completely new file (Blank presentation)

  • Click on the top placeholder called Click to add title to enter the name of the presentation by using keyboard

  • Do not press ENTER after finishing typing the text in the placeholder for Title, use the mouse to click the second place holder for enter text

  • Click on the second placeholder called Click to add subtitle to enter the catchy name or presenter’s name and date by using keyboard
