Add Text to Shapes
Nearly any shape can be used to hold text
- Click on shape to select it
- Type text into the shape

Change the text direction
- Click on the shape holding the text.
- Do one of the following:
- Go to Drawing Tools tab > Format tab > WordArt Styles group > click on WordArt Styles Dialog Box Launcher icon

- Right-click on the boundary of the shape > select Format Shape from the shortcut menu

- In the Format Text Effects dialog box, do the following:

Click on Text box

Under Text layout section, click the Text direction down arrow > select a desired text direction

Click Close button

- Another way to change text direct is to disable Wrap text in shape feature in the Format Text Effects dialog box

Click Text Box

Under Internal margin section, clear Warp text in shape check box

Click Close button

Change the color of the text in the shape
- Select the boundary of the shape
- Go to Drawing Tools tab > Format tab > WordArt Styles group > click the Text Fill down arrow > select the desired color to apply to the text

Change the Font Face, Font Size, Bold, Italic of the text
- Select the boundary of the shape
- Go to Home tab > Font group > select desired command to apply changes in the text
