Animate Objects in the Presentation

Animating slides can make a presentation more attractive as well as professional because it is a great tool to explain a complex slide or just slowly reveal information to the audience. However, it’s necessary to avoid using too much animation on each slide of the presentation

Add animation

  • Click on the text, shape, or other object to apply animation

  • Go to Animations tab > Animations group > click on down arrow at Animation Gallery > select a desired animation option to apply to the selected object

    • All green animation options are entrance animations

    • All yellow animation options are emphasize animations

    • All red animation options are exit animations

  • Like transitions, many of the animation choices have Effect Options such as Direction and Speed
