Modify Page Layout
- Three page layout settings: Margins, Page Orientation, and Page Size are all used to determine how the document will look when it is printed
- All the Page Layout settings can be found on the Backstage View under Print option

Set Page Margins
Page Margins are the blank spaces around the edges of a page

Go to Page Layout tab > Page Setup group > click on Margins

Select desired options from the dropdown

Normal – one inch all the way around the document (default setting)

Narrow – a half inch all the way around the document

Moderate – leave large margins at the top and the bottom of the document

Wide – leave huge wide margins at the left and right side of the document (used for revising the document)

Mirrored – give an inch-and-a-quarter on the left odd numbered pages, the side where a three-hole punch would be

Custom Margins – custom page margins in the Page Setup dialog box

Change Page Orientation
- Go to Page Layout tab > Page Setup group > click on Orientation
- Select the desired option either Portrait or Landscape

Choose Page Size
- Go to Page Layout tab > Page Setup group > click on Size
- Select the desired page size from the dropdown
