Replace and Find feature
Replace feature
Replace feature allows you to search for text with the goal being replacing the text with some other text
-
Go to Home tab > Editing group > click Replace

- In the Find and Replace dialog box, do the following:
-
Select Replace tab
-
In the Find what text box, enter the word to search
-
In the Replace with text box, enter the word to replace
-
Click More button

-
Under Search Options section, select Find whole words only check box or Match case check box > Replace All button to replace the word for entire of the document

For advance replacing with particular formatting in the document, under Replace section, click Special button or Format button

Find feature
-
Using the Navigation pane only can search for Text, Tables, Graphics or Equations
-
To search for particular formatting in the document including special characters and text with particular formatting, go to Home tab > Editing group > click Replace > click Find tab

For advance finding with particular formatting in the document, do the following:
-
Click More button
-
Under Find section, click Special button or Format button

Change the case of text
-
Select the paragraph or text to change case
-
Go to Home tab > Font section > click the Change Case down arrow
-
Choose cases of text from the drop down list
-
Sentence case (make the first word to upper-cased first letter at the start of each sentence)
-
lowercase
-
UPPERCASE
-
Capitialize Each Word
-
tOGGLE cASE (takes every capital letter and turns it into a lowercase letter, every lowercase letter and turns it into an upper case or capital letter )

Subcripts and Supercripts feature
Subscripts and Superscripts are not exactly a case but they are similar
-
(1) Superscripts appear above the normal line of text in a document
-
(2) Subscripts appear below the normal line of text in a document

To make text superscript or subscript, do the following:
-
Select the text to format as superscript or subscript
-
Go to Home tab > Font group
-
Do one of the following:
-
Click Superscript or press CTRL + SHIFT + =

-
Click Subscript or press CTRL + =
-

Use Text Effects
-
Text Effects gallery is new in Word 2010 that are generally used for tittles, headings and decorative document text
-
Four types of effects: Outline, Shadow, Reflection and Glow. Those effects can be combined two or more the same text
-
The Text Effects is in the Font group on the Home tab and comes with 20 pre-built effect combinations as well as four types of effects
-
The color of Text Effects will be based on the current document theme
-
To remove Text Effects applied for text or paragraph, select No Outline, No Shadow, No Reflection or No Glow from the drop down Text Effects menu
