Use Indents
Understand Indents in the document

Indents refer to extra white space added at the left margin so that a block of text can be set off from the rest of the text in the document

First Line Indent
keeps the first line of the paragraph go in and the rest of the paragraph remains while pressing one time the tab key on the keyboard -
Hanging Indent
set the second and all the following lines of a paragraph to begin -
Indents are applied for an entire paragraph or paragraphs
-
The default distance of the indent (default tab) is the half-inch
Increase indents for an entire paragraph or paragraphs

Select an entire paragraph or paragraphs

Do one of the following:

Go to Home tab > Paragraph group > click Increase Indent button

Right-click the selected text > click Increase Indent from the shortcut menu

Decrease indents for an entire paragraph or paragraphs

Select an entire paragraph or paragraphs

Do one of the following:

Go to Home tab > Paragraph group > click Decrease Indent button

Right-click the selected text > click Decrease Indent from the shortcut menu
