Explore the Presentation Gallery

The PowerPoint Presentation Gallery will help you get started with creating a brand-new presentation, and can also be used to access presentations that you have worked on recently under the Recent Presentation pane

1. Under Templates, click Presentation > click on any thumbnail of Presentation Templates in the gallery and see the information about it on the right-hand pane.

TIP To turn off the information pane to see more thumbnails in the gallery, click the button to open or close right pane

2. When you have selected a desired template in the gallery, you can go to the right pane to:

Navigate sample slides contents within the selected template by clicking the Next or Previous arrow
Change the color scheme by clicking Colors list down arrow
Change the font set by clicking Fonts list down arrow
Change the slide sides by clicking Slide size list down arrow

TIP To always start with a blank presentation when you open PowerPoint, select the Don't show this when opening PowerPoint check box at the bottom of the PowerPoint Presentation Gallery
