Use and Create Templates

A PowerPoint template is a pattern or blueprint of a slide or group of slides that you save as a .potx or .pptx file. Templates can contain layouts, colors, fonts, effects, background styles, and even content. You can modify a presentation or existing template, and then save as a template in order to save time  creating other presentations in the future with exactly the same in design but new content

3.   Add, delete, or change any text, graphics, or formatting, and make any other changes that you want to appear in all new documents that you base on the template.

TIP       If you want to make one change to replicate it in several slide layouts, rather than changing each layout or slide individually, you can edit slide  masters.

4.   From the Menu Bar, click File > choose Save As

5.   In the Save As box, type the name that you want to use the new template
