Track Changes
When collaborating with others on a Word document, Track Changes features allows you to track each insertion, deletion, move, formatting change or comment made by the author or other users, so that the author can review all the changes or each user’s change. Then, the author can decide to accept or reject proposed changes in a document
Set Track Changes Feature
1. From the Ribbon, go to Review tab > Tracking group > click on Show Markup
2. Click on Preferences…

Review Tracked Changes in the Document
1. From the Ribbon, go to Review tab > Changes group
2. Click on Next or Previous

Accept Each Change in the Document
1. Do one of the following:
- From the Ribbon, go to Review tab > Changes group > click Accept

- In the comment itself, click on the check mark

2. Accept each comments until there are no more tracked changes or comments in the document
Reject Each Change in the Document
1. Do one of the following:
- From the Ribbon, go to Review tab > Changes group > click Reject

- In the comment itself, click on the X

- In the Comments group, click Delete

2. Reject changes and delete comments until there are no more tracked changes or comments in the document
Accept All Changes at the Same Time
1. Go to Review tab > Changes group > click on Next or Previous

2. Click the arrow next to Accept, and then click Accept All Changes in Document

Reject All Changes at the Same Time
1. Go to Review tab > Changes group > click on Next or Previous

2. Click the arrow next to Reject, and then click Reject All Changes in Document

Track Changes Using the Review Pane
1. From the Ribbon, go to Review tab > Changes group > click on the Review Pane button

- The Review Pane lists all changes done to different parts of the document
- Click on the change you can navigate to that part of the document

Enable Show Markup Feature
Show Markup feature allows you to review changes by type of edit, or by a specific reviewer
1. Go to Review tab > Tracking group
2. Do the following:
- Make sure the Track Changes switch is moved to ON

- Click the arrow next to Show Markup and do one of the following:

- Clear all check boxes except for the ones next to the types of changes that you wish to review
- Point to Reviewers, and then clear all check boxes except for the ones next to the names of the reviewers whose changes you wish to review
