Print in Pure Black-and-White

Printing documents or files in pure black-and-white is a trick that allows you print your documents or files when your color cartridge is running out of ink. Therefore, you will not get faded and blurry looking pictures

  • Click Start button

  • In the Start menu, click Devices and Printer on the right hand side of the menu

  • Double click on a desired printer to access the Device Stage window

  • Double click Adjust print color to access to Printer Preferences 

  • In the Printing Preference Dialog Box, do the following

    • Select Color tab

    • Under Color options, select Print Grayscale checkbox and Black Print Cartridge Only option

    • Click OK to confirm
