Set a Default Printer

  • Click Start button

  • In Start menu, click Devices and Printers on the left hand side of the menu

  • In Devices and Printer Control Panel, under Printers and Faxes section, right click on a desired printer device icon  and choose Set as default printer option from the shortcut menu

 

  • Quick note:

    • Microsoft XPS Document Writer is not a printer. It’s used to convert a document to an XPS file that can printed anywhere
