Getting Started with Teacher Licensure

If you are interested in enrolling in a Teacher Licensure Program at Metro State, we invite you to attend one of our Information Meetings.  We hold these meetings each semester for prospective students who are looking for more information on the programs we offer, the process of getting started at Metro, and the basic requirements for Teacher Licensure candidates.  You may show up to any of our scheduled meetings.  These meetings are optional.

Once you are ready to start your degree and/or teacher licensure program at Metro, you will need to submit an application to the college.  For details and registration cut-off dates, please visit the Admissions website. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Post-baccalaureate students who apply to the college with the sole purpose of obtaining teacher licensure should select “Licensure - General Teacher Licensure” on your application, and NOT “Non-Degree Seeking”.
