In addition to foundation and advanced workshops offered each semester, Teaching with Primary Sources at MSU Denver organizes special events throughout the year for Colorado educators. Our staff experts also attend numerous regional and national conferences.

|| Teacher Librarian Day ||
Held early each year, this highly anticipated cornerstone event offers all educators the chance to immerse themselves in inquiry-based and primary source training by offering a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations, and performances on a varying range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder - and to provoke conversations that matter.
|| When History Happens ||
Opportunities sometimes arise (such as when the Democratic Convention was held in Denver in 2008), so Teaching with Primary Sources-MSU Denver develops a special program on the topic and offers insights, training and resources to educators across the state. We usually set up both face-to-face workshops and online options.
|| Conference Attendance ||
Several times each year, our Teaching with Primary Sources-MSU Denver staff and network leaders get the opportunity to provide training or attend educational conferences throughout the country.
