|| Events Overview ||
Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado organizes special events throughout the year for Colorado educators, in addition to foundation and advanced workshops offered each semester. Our staff experts also attend numerous regional and national conferences.
Librarian Days: Held early each year, this two-day event offers librarian + teacher pairs the chance to immerse themselves in inquiry-based and primary source training around a theme and the study of chosen historical elements.
When History Happens: Opportunities sometimes arise (such as when the Democratic Convention was held in Denver in 2008), so Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado develops a special program on the topic and offers insights, training and resources to educators across the state. We usually set up both face-to-face workshops and online options.
Conference Attendance: Several times each year, our Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado staff and network leaders get the opportunity to provide training or attend educational conferences throughout the country.
