Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado organizes special events throughout the year for Colorado educators, in addition to foundation and advanced workshops offered each semester. Our staff experts also attend numerous regional and national conferences.
|| Teacher Librarian Days ||
Held early each year, this event offers librarian + teacher pairs the chance to immerse themselves in inquiry-based and primary source training around a theme and the study of chosen historical elements.
|| When History Happens ||
Opportunities sometimes arise (such as when the Democratic Convention was held in Denver in 2008), so Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado develops a special program on the topic and offers insights, training and resources to educators across the state. We usually set up both face-to-face workshops and online options.
|| Conference Attendance ||
Several times each year, our Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado staff and network leaders get the opportunity to provide training or attend educational conferences throughout the country.
